My name is Simon Rae and I am based in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. I have been playing the guitar for 15 years. I am a member of the Musician Union & a certified guitar tutor with the 'Registry of Guitar Tutors'.
I have been influenced by many of the great guitar players from years gone by such as Jimi Hendrix for his eccentric rock playing, and Django Reinhardt the king of the Gypsy Jazz style of guitar playing.
I enjoy playing the acoustic guitar & recommend that students start to learn on an acoustic guitar as it is more difficult to play than the electric and will help to develop strong fingers and flexibility. If you just want to play electric guitar then that's ok to...............
